Cairo Selects ARINC Managed Services for Airport IT Support

Egypt's Cairo International Airport will use ARINC Managed Services for technology support at its new Terminal 3, now under construction.

The contract with the ARINC subsidiary was awarded by the Cairo Airport Company and its parent, the Egyptian Holding Company for Airports and Air Navigation.  In another action, likely related to the award, ARINC announced plans to open a Cairo office in the near future to support the airport and other enterprise technology customers in the region.

The new agreement follows a separate $22 million contract already awarded to ARINC for 14 other airport technology systems at Terminal 3, including passenger check-in kiosks and information displays, to biometric-based immigration gates and advanced ramp control.  11-22-2006.
