Brazil to Use Ubitech's Integrated AIS

Ubitech will supply Brazil's aeronautical authority, DECEA, with its integrated AIS (aeronautical information system) for managing both dynamic and static data.

EBCO Systems of Brazil is partnering with Ubitech to implement the project that will begin soon, according to the two companies.

Ubitech says it will provide DECEA with advanced GIS (geographic information system) and aeronautical charting and publication capabilities that will be delivered as desktop applications.  Its static AIS, called Spatia, has a plug-and-play architecture which will allow DECEA to bring in other dynamic components such as NOTAMs (notices to airmen) and OPMET (operational meteorological system) management, and weather displays.  02-16-2007.
