Boston First U.S. Airport to Use Web-Based Landing-Fee Billing
Boston Logan has replaced
airline "self-reporting" of landing fees with a Web-based program that
allows it to either audit an airline's records, or proactively generate
landing fee billing information on its own.
The program,
PASSUR Pulse, gives Boston instant, detailed landing fee and operations
reports from its own database of flight information, and automatically
generates appropriate invoices. All of this can be shared with carriers
online.
Logan was the first U.S.
airport to adopt the Megadata Corporation system. 02-22-2006.
