Bombardier Unveils Global Vision Flightdeck

Bombardier said London Air Services will be the launch customer for its new Global Vision flight deck designed for the Global 5000 and Global Express XRS.  London Air Services is a charter service provider based in Vancouver, Canada.

The Global Vision flight deck, scheduled for certification in the third quarter of 2010 and entry in service in 2011, will feature Rockwell Collins' new Pro Line Fusion avionics suite, paired with a flight control environment created by Design Q, and CMC Electronics' latest SureSight I-Series integrated sensor system for Bombardier's enhanced vision system known as BEVS.

Other notable cockpit features include an integrated head-up guidance system - which is part of BEVS - FANS (future air navigation system), CPDLC (controller-pilot datalink communications) capability, and synthetic vision.  09-30-2007.
