Boeing and Sukhoi Agree to Expand Collaboration

The Boeing Company and Sukhoi have agreed to expand their collaboration, including an increased advisory role by Boeing on Sukhoi's Superjet 100 regional jet program.

The agreement means Boeing can assist Sukhoi in areas including, but not limited to, the training of flight and maintenance personnel, the management of spare parts, and the production of flight and maintenance manuals.

In 2002, before the Russian government designated Sukhoi to lead Russia's regional jet program, Sukhoi asked Boeing to advise it and its partners on program management, engineering, marketing, product development, certification, supplier management, and customer support.  06-10-2007.
