Boeing Selects Goodrich Video Monitoring for B-777F Boeing will include Goodrich's cargo door video monitoring system as standard equipment on its new B-777 freighter. The system, which includes an operator display and control panel located in the flight deck crew rest area and three cameras, is designed to monitor the area around the main cargo door during opening and closing to assist in the prevention of damage to an aircraft. Two of the cameras are located just inside the cargo door and the third camera is located on the leading edge of the left horizontal stabilizer. Goodrich expects to deliver its first system to Boeing in early 2008. 07-03-2007. |
