Avionica's Wireless Router Certified for A320 Installations

Avionica says the FAA has certified the installation of its wireless router on all A320 family aircraft, through its affiliate, Avionics Support Group.

The STC (supplemental type certificate) is for Avionica's secureLINK system that will be installed first on an Air Jamaica A320 to support its flight data monitoring program.

According to Avionica, secureLINK enables a more efficient method of transferring data to and from the aircraft by eliminating the need for traditional data media that requires human handling.  02-09-2007.
