Aviall Selects Infospectrum's MRO Application

Aviall will use Infospectrum's MRO (maintenance, repair and overhaul) application to help manage the operational effectiveness of its component repair facilities in Dallas, Texas; Van Nuys, California; and, eight other U.S. facilities.

Infospectrum's infoTRAK MRO is an Internet-based modular system that allows a customer to use some or all of its capabilities to augment existing systems and IT infrastructure.

Aviall will use the following infoTRAK modular capabilities:

Repair and overhaul management
Planning and forecasting
Induction, tear-down, inspection, and disposition management
Quotation management, available-to-promise (ATP), and customer order pricing
Self-service kiosk services for shop floor personnel labor collection
Automated invoice calculation
Audit trails, quality, and airworthiness forms generation
Visibility, monitoring, status, and reporting services
Contract-oriented cost management
