Alliant Integrated Flight Deck Certified on King Air E90s and C90s

Avidyne Corporation and S-TEC Corporation received an FAA STC (supplemental type certificate) for Alliant's integrated flight deck on King Air E90s and C90s.

This was the first implementation of Avidyne's Envision series of retrofit products and S-TEC's IntelliFlight 2100 digital flight control system. The standard Envision package includes dual Avidyne EX5000 10.4" PFDs (primary flight displays) and an EX500 MFD (multi-function display).

Standby instruments from Mid-Continent, and interfaces to most popular traffic, terrain, lightning, radar and radar altimeter systems, are also included in the package.

The first installation was performed at S-TEC's facility in Mineral Wells, Texas.  Future installations may be performed at authorized Alliant dealer locations.  03-24-2007.
