AirCell Satcom Installed in First Piaggio Avanti II

Jet Works Air Center has completed the first installation of an AirCell satcom system on a Piaggio Avanti II via a new FAA STC (supplemental type certificate) written by Jet Works and owned by Piaggio America, Inc.

This particular Jet Works installation includes an AirCell Axxess II satellite transceiver, mounted in the Avanti's nose, a CTR (cabin telecommunications router) mounted in the cabin, and color handsets placed in both the flight deck and the cabin.  03-11-2007.
