Air Berlin Chooses ARINC for Enhanced Connectivity and Type B Network Service ARINC says it has installed its AviNet MQ Type-B business networking service for Air Berlin. Airline Type-B messages, which are formatted according to IATA standards, are used for such things as booking seats, tracking cargo, issuing flight plans, and providing aerospace parts and repairs. AviNet MQ will improve Air Berlin's IATA Type-B messaging capability with its trading partners, because of its efficient protocol translation and high reliability, according to ARINC. 01-20-2008. |
