Aer Lingus Renews ARINC Flight Communications Contract
Dublin-based Aer Lingus has
renewed its contract with ARINC for VHF datalink and satellite communications.
The low-cost Irish carrier
will continue to use ARINC's
GLOBALink VHF ACARS (aircraft communications addressing and reporting
system) and satcom.
Aer Lingus has expanded its
passenger volume rapidly over the last five years, with a unique, Internet-based
sales model, and has added a large number of routes and new Airbus aircraft,
which also has caused significant increases in its flight communications use,
especially over the past two years. 06-30-2007. |
