ARINC Direct to Offer Flight Explorer's Flight Tracking Tool ARINC Direct will offer Flight Explorer's ASD (aircraft situation display) flight tracking application to business jet operators as the result of a teaming agreement between the two companies. Under the terms of their agreement, ARINC Direct will serve as a VAR (value added reseller) of FE's Professional Edition flight tracking and decision support tool. Besides supplying accurate information about an aircraft's position, estimated time of arrival, and other fight progress data, FE Professional dynamically overlays graphical weather depictions on its situational maps and incorporates predictive weather information, air traffic updates, and alerts of important changes. In addition, because of this partnership, ARINC Direct customers will now be able to display international aircraft position reports as well as domestic ones. 06-18-2007. |
